DON’T FORGET ABOUT THE PINE LAKE HOME AND GARDEN TOUR MAY 16
SUPPORT A GOOD CAUSE:
Please come out next Sunday (May 16) from 2:00PM to 6:00PM and
participate in our city’s first home and garden tour. Tell your friends
and family too! The Pine Lake City Arts committee has organized the
event to raise funds for the summer theatre camp for kids and the
musicians fund for LakeFest (our art and music festival held the first
weekend October). All proceeds will be used to support these two great
events.
TOUR DETAILS:
There are 8 homes and a smattering of gardens or artistic points of
interest on the tour.
Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 on the day of the festival.
Purchase tickets at the City Hall annex (blue building) or by contacting
Kathie deNobriga (404-299-9498) or Traci Augustosky (678-705-4749).
Tours start at the beach house (where you will be given a map and some
details about each of the homes on the tour).
BE MORE THAN AN ATTENDEE:
This will become an annual event for the Pine Lake City Arts committee.
Please think about volunteering for next year. Let Kathie deNobriga or
Traci Augustosky know if you are interested.
For anyone interested in being more than an atendee this year, think
about being part of the “fringe.” Fringe Festivals are a noted element
of many theatre and music festivals — it’s a way for more people to
participate on an informal basis. If you want to participate in this
year’s Pine Lake Home & Garden Tour in a completely adhoc, spontaneous,
free-form way, just mark your house with balloons. This will let
attendees know they are welcome to come on in for a tour, chat, or light
refreshments. If you’ll come to the Beach House on Sunday at noon, you
can get some balloons, and add your house to the Fringe Tour!
