Last night between 10-12am the Hambrick rapist struck again.  This time the
victim was an elderly.
Please remember to lock all doors and windows in the evening.

UPDATE: Recent Arrest

On 01/12/2010 (AM) Pine Lake Police responded to a suspicious person.
Dekalb County units observed a suspicious person pushing a coke machine with
a push broom near the intersection of Rowland Rd. and Prince of Whales. The
subject removed the Coke Machine for the rear of the Shell gas station
located at 4635(A) Rockbridge Rd. further investigation of the location
yielded an open rear door. Subject was then placed under arrest without
incident.

Greetings and Happy New Year,

The City of Pine Lake Police Department has logged the following incident reports for the week ending January 1, 2010.

Up Dates/Reminders:
Park Dr On 01/02/2010 at approximately 05:08 hours, met with the complainant/victim who stated that she observed an unknown young male or female with a hat on standing in front of the living room window. The window was halfway ajar. The unknown subject then closed the window and walked away.

Orchid Rd On Saturday 01-02-2010 at approximately 11:00 hours, Pine Lake responded in reference to damage to property call. Complaint stated she discovered her living room window, her kitchen window and her children’s window screens were cut and damaged. No entry was made into her home and nothing was moved or missing.

Spruce Dr. On 01/04/2010 Pine Lake responded in reference to a burglary. The home owner had gone out of town leaving her home to be monitored by a neighbor. It appears as though entry was made through the rear of the location. unknown subject had taken a pair of diamond ear rings, cash, Bottle of wine and an outfit.

Orchid Dr. Pine Lake responded to Theft call. Complainant advised unknown person removed her Broom and dust pan from inside the house after she left the door open. (Also missing were: 46 Dollars in US currency an open bottle of 24 once Mountain dew (open in the refrigerator) a case of Big K 12 once soda and a scarf).

Pine Lake Police Have blocked several roads due to heavy icing and accidents. For your safety we ask that you use the routes suggested. Use caution when driving -be on the lookout for “Black Ice”. It is also recommended that you leave your faucets a drip to avoid pipes freezing.

-We are reminding residence to report any and all suspicious activities.
